                                  Message from the President

As President of Eta Chi Zeta Chapter, I am proud to welcome you to our virtual home. My heart overflows with gratitude for this precious gift of leadership and service that my chapter has entrusted me with. I am committed to providing our members and the community with the utmost service and dedication, and to perpetuate the principles upon which Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded; Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. Our chapter has a membership of college educated, innovative women with diverse professional backgrounds who have a common goal to serve the community.

Eta Chi Zeta Chapter is dynamic, driven, and, unwavering in its mission to promote positive changes in the educational and economic stations of all women and girls by providing relevant, digestible, quality, and empowering service outreach within the community. Our dedication to the community and commitment to service, keeps the chapter actively engaged and connected through our initiatives.

The women of Eta Chi Zeta Chapter have made tremendous strides in our community since re-chartering April 6, 2005. We are strong supporters of the March of Dimes in Will County, by participating in Prematurity Awareness Month and March for Babies. Working with community partners and supporters allows us to touch the pulse of the people we serve. Eta Chi Zeta sponsors and participates in numerous service activities centered around our national programs, such as Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel), St. Jude’s and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We have received many awards, certificates and other recognition for our work throughout the Sorority and in our community.

While navigating through the post pandemic, we remain committed to servicing our community, as safely as possible. Our innovative ideas and advanced technologies will allow us to serve our community and stay connected.

As we celebrate our second Century of Service, under the leadership of our 26th International President and CEO, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant, Eta Chi Zeta Chapter will continue to operate in excellence and provide exceptional service to the citizens of Joliet and Will County.

As you peruse our site, it is my hope that you will gain more insight about our Illustrious Organization and Chapter. We will uphold the principals of Zeta and continue to demonstrate our unwavering commitment, while making a positive impact in the community we serve.

Eta Chi Zeta; A Chapter United, Working Together to Make a Difference!
